Join us for our Lenten soup supper and a service to follow!
We’re looking forward to this year’s mid-week Lenten services. For more than twenty years, Salem members have shared stories of their faith: their joys, challenges, insights, questions, and praise.
This year our theme is “Then Sings My Soul: The Spirituality of Music”. The theme this year comes from the importance of music in the Bible, our church, and our personal faith journeys. In Scripture, David sang and danced before the Lord, Jesus and the disciples sang a hymn on their way to Gethsemane, songs of praise highlight key moments of salvation, and the psalms offer timeless musical poetry. In Salem, our music ministry gives glory to God and unites the community with one voice in song. In our personal faith journeys, we all have songs that have comforted and consoled us with God’s presence.
Join us downstairs in Bethany Hall for soup at 6:30, and in the sanctuary at 7:30 to hear members reflect on this year's theme.
