Ash Hillary

Ash Hillary (pronouns: they/them/theirs) has been Salem's Office Administrator since May 2026. Prior to Salem, they spent the last 8 years in IT as a systems engineer/administrator at Thrive Networks, City Teaching Alliance, and Johns Hopkins Health Systems. Ash is a 2014 graduate of Towson University and holds a Bachelors of Science in Electronic Media and Film. They are a lifelong member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hampstead, MD and currently serve as Council Recording Secretary, chair of the Technology Committee, and singer/keyboardist for the Praise Band that leads the music at their contemporary worship service.

Ash, their spouse, Jess, and two cats, Burt and Dale, have called Catonsville home since 2018. They enjoy reading, cooking, movies & television, music, podcasts, and writing.
