WHO WE ARE: Since 1997, members of the community have met at Salem Lutheran Church to further a variety of charitable causes.
WHAT WE DO: We knit and crochet baby hats for St. Agnes’ NICU and chemo hats for the Cancer Institute; hats and scarves for less fortunate members of our community; layette sweaters for Lutheran World Relief; lap robes for local nursing homes; baby blankets served by the Bon Secours Foundation in Baltimore city; Teddy bears, distributed by Baltimore County police officers (Wilkens precinct) to children in crisis; hats and scarves for the Seafarers’ Christmas-at-Sea. . .and more!
WHEN WE MEET: Most every Thursday, from 10 a.m. to noon. We take a break on Maundy Thursday, Thanksgiving, and a few other dates. If in doubt, call the church office at (410) 747-0720.
WHERE WE MEET: The Wittenberg Room at Salem.
OTHER THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: We supply yarn, needles, hooks, patterns, and friends to lend a helping hand and caring ear. Come every week or whenever you can. Stay for two hours or drop in late and leave early.
